Katie Gonzalez
Senior Research Analyst
Katie Gonzalez is a Researcher at Mathematica and a member of the EC*REACH team. Her work with EC*REACH focuses on examining the impacts of Chicago's Universal Pre-Kindergarten program, particularly impacts on access to high-quality early care and education. More broadly, her research focuses on using rigorous quantitative methods to evaluate early childhood programs and policies, including those intended to improve program quality and increase access to high-quality early care and education, particularly for children from families with low incomes. Her work also focuses on the impacts of efforts to support the early childhood workforce, including professional development programs and initiatives to increase workforce compensation. She obtained her Ph.D. in Education from Harvard University.
